[Landscape made in Italy]: Naples

Good morning to you all :)

After Rome and Milan, the third-largest Italian city is Naples. It is the capital of the region called Campania.
It is one of the oldest city of the world, it was inhabited even in the bronze age.

Very famous thanks to its architecture and history, Naples has beautiful sea views and its port is one of the most important in Europe.

Surely a must go place if you are visiting south Italy. To enlist places and things of interest is really impossible because there are so many of them. Do you want to hear some examples? Naples is the place from which originated the modern theatre genre, with the famous masks; due also to its particular language it has a musical genre on its own; the food is great, just great, and so on…

Naples is really a fascinating and flawless city, advised for all:)

Andromeda, the galaxy

I will love to share a poem written by a friend of mine …
About Andromeda galaxy.

Andromeda
the Galaxy

Outside space
and time shows us
a glowing ribbon
of unknown borders
indicating other spaces and other times

Could man perhaps come out of himself and find peace?

The eye has penetrated past times
and has sounded the limits of space
dragging impotently behind
the mind
like a Siren’s song.

---------------

Andromeda
la Galassia

Fuori dallo spazio
e dal tempo a noi noti
un fioco lume
dai confini incerti
indica altri spazi ed altri tempi

Può forse l'uomo uscir da se stesso e trovare
pace?

L'occhio ha penetrato il tempo passato
ha sfondato i limiti dello spazio
trascinando con se impotente
la mente
come canto di sirena.

[Italian food]: Tortelli

Hi all, how are you?
While writing about beautiful landscapes our Country has to offer, why don’t talk about one of the thing Italy is most famous for? Food of course ;)

Maybe not one of the must renowned food, but surely one of the most enjoyable is Tortelli. They are a kind of pasta, or to better say, a type of first course.
In the picture you can see a dish of Tortelli called “con coda”, which means with tail. This particular type is originated from Piacenza, situated near Milan.

Appreciated by famous personalities like Petrarch, Boccaccio and Carducci, for the locals represents a powerful symbol of tradition.
The flavor of spinach and ricotta cheese can remind you of many lunches and dinners from your childhood, with friends and family.

Sometimes happens that I was asked why food and particularly pasta are so important for us. The answer is that it is something that you make and share, something to make others feel good, and something strongly related to our land and tradition.

The reason Italian food like Tortelli is known all over the world, is because thanks to the care in its preparation, it can expire and make you recall beautiful memories and emotions.

I hope you liked this post and buon appetito!

[Landscape made in Italy]: Island of Capri

Hi all, how are you?

Let’s keep talking about beautiful landscape you can see in Italy.

Today I will write about Capri.

Famous all over the world it is situated near Naples, in the region of Campania. The most populated center in the island is the city with the same name.

Astonishing for its views, it is famous from ancient history when it was used by romans to spent a quiet holiday. The name Capri comes straight from the ancient Greek.

Present in a lot of art and literature works, the island of Capri is ideal to spend some time alone or with your friends or family in a quiet sea location full of history.

In the photo you can see the Faraglioni, three in the south-east of Capri.
