[Landscape made in Italy]: Mount Vesuvius

Good morning from Mount Vesuvius!

It is a volcano in the southern part of Italy, near Naples. Famous for its eruption in AD 79, it is still active.

It is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes on Earth because of the immense damage it can do to the nearby population.

I think that, despite being scary in its capability to create a natural disaster, it is also very fascinating. Through a small number of paths around the mountains, visitors can admire the grandness of the volcano and a beautiful landscape as far as the eye can see.

Around history a lot of legends and popular Myths developed around this mount, even one which reads that the first Pizza was cooked using the Vesuvius incandescent magma.

[Landscape made in Italy]: Colosseum

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Italy?
It’s lunchtime as I’m writing this, so probably “pizza” or “spaghetti” or “lasagne alla bolognese”. Then for the ones that are hungry like me, I will rephrase: What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about monuments and iconic buildings of Italy?
If you still cannot leave the thought of tempting Italian food, I’ll answer for you: The Colosseum or Coliseum.

Also known as Flavian Amphitheatre, it is a huge monument in the center of the capital city of Italy: Rome.

Its construction began in 79AD and ended after 8 years. After its conclusion it became immediately very famous for its astonishing architecture and for the gladiator fights and public spectacles.

Thousands of years later it is still standing.

Considered one of the most impressive work of architecture of all time, it is the most largest Amphitheatre ever built.

Trust me when I say that the pictures of it cannot catch at all the beauty and sophistication of it. If you ever come to Italy the Coliseum is absolutely the first thing to see.

[Landscape made in Italy]: Mont Blanc and the Alps

Today I want to make a point: Italy does not offer only beautiful landscapes thanks to a rich, thousands-years long history of human development, but it can also provide the eyes of the interested with flawless natural views.
For example, one of the many of them is the long and high mountain range system of the Alps.

Spreading across eight countries, the Alps can offer a lot of different, breathtaking and amazing landscapes especially in Italy, where you can enjoy a trip in these surreal sceneries both in the hot sun of summer and in the cold winds of winter, having fun skiing in the cutting edge ski slopes.

Remarkable is Mont Blanc or Monte Bianco, the white mountain, that is one of the highest peaks in Europe.

[Landscape made in Italy]: Venice

A characteristic and iconic city in Italy is Venice, everlasting presence with its beautiful canals and bridges in every lover’s dream.

This city has a long history and it is famous especially for its great relevance in the middle age and Renaissance, when it controlled a very large part of all Mediterranean Sea Trades.

Magnificent in its architecture and originality it amazes every years thousands of tourist from all over the world.

Charming in every part of the day, in my opinion gives its best in clear nights, moment in which the plentiful water of Sea shines with an astonishing number of reflected lights.

I definitely advice Venice as destination for all who will come to visit Italy because of its marvelous landscapes, in addition to a lot of peculiar things such as Gondolas, the most common local transport, and the Murano glass, world-renowned for its elegance and quality.
